How to setup the product ?
As this is a genuine, factory made product, the CISS ink system comes completely integrated with the printer and all you have to do is to fill the CISS with the ink provided in separate ink bottles. Just follow the usage instructions provided in the product box (on paper / CD).
Please note the CISS Ink System will only hold about 70ml of ink, less than the 100ml of ink available in each of the ink bottles provided. You will use the remaining ink later on, when you will need to refill the CISS.
How to use the ink system ?
There are two important rules you should respect at all times when using a CISS Ink System:
- The CISS should always be placed on the same table / desk with the printer; NEVER place the ink system above or below the printer as this may result in damage to your printer
- Always refill the external tanks of the system when the ink level reaches about 20% of the total capacity; printing until the ink is completely exhausted will affect the pressure inside the ink system and consequently the ink flow
How to refill the external ink tanks of the CISS ?
Refilling the CISS ink system is very easy. Just make sure:
- to refill the CISS ink system when the ink level reaches about 20% of the total capacity
- to use only HIGH QUALITY CISSmarket ink for Epson EXPRESSION HOME XP range
